Description
A woodpecker from William Morris spectacular tapestry is the centerpiece of this one of a kind pendant.
I once a king and chief, now am the tree barks thief, ever twixt trunk and leaf chasing the prey. ~ Ovid s Metamorphoses
Found image under a glass cabochon. Hand painted, patina green accented, antiqued gold finished clay frame with highly detailed antiqued gold finished floating crown top. Adorned with a complementing dyed freshwater pearl.
Pendant is just over @ 5 8 of an inch wide, @ 1 7 8 inches long from top of the pendant to the bottom of the bead drop.
Necklace is @ 19 1 2 inches long but can be worn shorter. (length can be adjusted upon request when purchased)
